“Hello! I'm Deepa, the founder of Mela Jewellery. Every piece of my jewellery is handcrafted here at my home studio in Cambridgeshire. I've been designing jewellery for over a decade, starting with a handful of beads and some simple tools before moving on to silversmithing.

I've since become a metalsmith, working with fire and metal to produce my range of highly wearable earring and necklace designs. My work is designed to be comfortable, effortless and a little confidence boost. I guarantee you'll wear it all the time!

Mela Jewellery is a collection of truly handmade, eco-conscious and minimal jewellery to wear everyday. The metals I use are carefully handpicked for quality, durability and sustainability. I work in recycled sterling silver for the majority of my work and everything is 100% handmade.

All of my packaging is 100% recyclable, plastic-free and my gift boxes are made from recycled materials. Everything, right from the packaging box to the tape I use is biodegradable and easily recyclable in your home recycling bin.
