"Hi there, I’m an Illustrator and Visual Designer shortlisted at the World Illustration Awards 2020.

With a degree in Advertising and Public Relations I began my career in 2004 as an Art Director and produced award winning work for global companies such as Apple and Sony.

From 2015 to 2018 I undertook the prestigious MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art while contracting as graphic designer and art workshop facilitator.

During 2018/2019 I was Artist in Residence at the Stephen Perse Foundation.

Nowadays I balance a part-time role as Creative Director at a UX design and innovation studio with my art practice which involves illustration, frame by frame animation and ceramic experiments. 

My work is bold, graphic and influenced by printmaking and limited colour palettes. I’m concerned about contemporary issues like mental wellbeing, sustainability and social justice.” — LELE
