“I am Sue of Handcrafted Books by Sue Day. Inspired by a love of books and stationery, I was intrigued to discover local bookbinding workshops and subsequently encouraged to pursue my craft. Using traditional bookbinding skills, my books are contemporary, covered with colourful soft leathers and decorative papers from around the world (some local). I have recently created a vegan range using eco-friendly, sustainable cork. One of my favourite styles is a simple Coptic notebook – exposed binding with visible stitching. Another favourite is the Leporello (Concertina photo book) which is a lovely way to carry and display a few favourite photos or memories.” — SUE
