"Hey I’m Kat the face behind Duck Egg Designs. I grew up just outside Cambridge, and a year after graduating university with a degree in Textile Design decided to take the plunge and start selling my work.

Inspired by the natural world my designs feature different plants and flowers drawn in a range of mediums from gouache and biro to hand stitched pieces. I especially enjoy creating card designs as I like the idea of people gifting my work to others and using it as a form of connection.

I take part in markets during the year and sell my work online through Etsy too – I’ve recently started to explore upcycling clothes with embroidery too as a way to create sustainable pieces.

I have a wide range of products from cards, prints and embroidered pieces to cushions and fabric printing which are available via commission.
